- Holder of a PhD in the relevant field from an accredited Higher Learning Institution with a GPA of 4.0 or above.
- Holder of a Master’s Degree in the relevant field with a GPA of 4.0 or above.
- Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field (First Class or Upper Second Class) with a GPA of 3.8 or above.
- Proof of sufficient publications in the area of specialization.

Assistant Public Relations Officer – 1 Post
Entry Qualifications and Experience:
- Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations or a related field (First Class or Upper Second Class) with a GPA of 3.5 or above.
- At least 2 years of work experience (added advantage).
Security Officer – 1 Post
Entry Qualifications and Experience:
- Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Controls or a related field.
- At least 3 years of work experience (added advantage).
General Attributes for Academic Positions
- Ability to design, set, administer, and supervise assessments.
- Ability to supervise field practices and undergraduate research projects.
- Ability to mark scripts and provide feedback.
- Ability to conduct consultancies and community engagement activities.
- Ability to prepare and deliver teaching materials, tutorials, and seminars.
- Ability to conduct independent research and mentor junior staff.
General Attributes for Administrative Positions
Assistant Public Relations Officer:
- Ability to assist in public relations activities and liaise with media.
- Ability to organize official functions and implement marketing strategies.
Security Officer:
- Ability to secure university premises and monitor surveillance equipment.
- Ability to perform campus inspections and ensure safety protocols.
4.0 Terms of Employment
Successful candidates will be employed on a 3-year contract (renewable), with confirmation after satisfactory completion of a 1-year probation period.
5.0 Remuneration
An attractive remuneration package will be offered based on the position applied for.
6.0 Mode of Application

- TCU Verification Certificate (for those who studied outside Tanzania).
